Mashup Score: 3CT Imaging Assessment of Response to Treatment in Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis in Adults With Bronchial Asthma - 2 day(s) ago
Changes in extent and density of mucoid impaction, centrilobular micronodules, consolidation/ground-glass opacities, and thickening of the bronchial walls were found to be the most relevant CT scan parameters to assess radiologic response to treatment. A clinical, immunologic, and radiologic multidimensional approach should be adopted to assess outcomes, probably with a composite definition of response to treatment.

Mashup Score: 0A Prayer for My Children - 2 month(s) ago
Most mornings, I whisper a prayer. When I have the words, I speak the Blackfeet language. When I don’t, I speak English. If time permits amid the chaotic beauty of greeting my children, pouring coffee, and gathering my belongings for work, I offer tobacco. This morning I gather essentials for a day in the ICU. An ultrasound probe, white coat, and medicine bundle filled with sweetgrass, sage, tobacco, and sweet pine share space in my backpack. My prayer begins with humility.

Mashup Score: 0Use and Outcomes of Peripheral Vasopressors in Early Sepsis-Induced Hypotension Across Michigan Hospitals - 3 month(s) ago
Peripheral vasopressor initiation was common across Michigan hospitals and had practical benefits, including expedited vasopressor administration and avoidance of central line placement in one-third of patients. However, the findings of wide practice variation that was not explained by patient case mix and lower use of first-line norepinephrine with peripheral administration suggest that additional standardization may be needed.
