Despite the availability of evidence-based treatment guidelines, the proportion of people with T2DM who fail to achieve glycemic goals continues to rise. The program is designed for healthcare providers who have basic knowledge of diabetes care and experience in managing patients with T2DM but who may not be comfortable prescribing or intensifying basal insulin therapy.
