I am a myeloma doctor that is passionate about quality of life, less is more approaches, supportive care and evidenced based medicine. Philantrophy is what has allowed us to study approaches that would not be supported by pharmaceutical companies, such as non-pharmacological approaches to keeping patients with smoldering myeloma safe off therapy, and optimizing diarrhea during autologous transplant. Your support would take us a long way.

1 in 2 men. 1 in 3 women. 1 in 10 children. That’s the statistic for who will get cancer in their lifetime. One person is one too many, so I signed up to participate in the Huntsman SportsFest. By donating to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, I know that 100% of all donations will go to fund life-saving cancer research. Join me and help me reach my fundraising goal!

I never would have thought cancer was going to save my life. I know that sounds strange, but it is true. Please bear with me as I can get long-winded. My cancer story begins just like many other stories – I went in to get a mole checked out. I knew it could be a problem given my pasty white skin and an abundance of freckles. The dermatologist removed the mole and low and behold it was…

I'm participating in the Huntsman SportsFest ride this June. Philanthropy has allowed us to conduct trials looking at less is more approaches (such as our smoldering myeloma imaging trial), and the other research we do. Join and support us! https://t.co/OpTJ28IbZN #mmsm https://t.co/JnGgG1wvCU
